Rise Above Mentoring was founded in 2024 by Harvey Bock, a passionate advocate for empowering individuals within the NDIS community. Harvey’s journey began during his work as a disability support worker, where he saw firsthand the challenges people with disabilities face in accessing basic services and opportunities.
One pivotal moment in his career inspired the creation of Rise Above Mentoring: a client’s months-long struggle to join a gym despite persistent advocacy. Witnessing how inaccessible these services could be was eye-opening, and Harvey knew there had to be a better way to provide support.
Determined to make a difference, Harvey envisioned a service that not only meets the practical needs of clients but also fosters a sense of belonging and connection. Rise Above Mentoring was born to bridge these gaps and create a supportive, inclusive community for teenagers and young adults.

We specialise in providing both Core Supports and Capacity-Building Services under the NDIS framework, offering a flexible, personalised approach to meet every client’s unique needs.
